__NOTOC__ Tom Morton (born 29 July 1981) is an actor and director with dual French and British nationality. He is completely bilingual and also works extensively as a translator and voice artist. == Biography == Morton was born and grew up in London, where he studied at the Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle before heading to the University of Edinburgh to study history and languages (Russian and Italian). During his time in Edinburgh, he pursued his interest in acting and joined the Bedlam Theatre. From 1999 to 2003, he worked there as an actor, but also became involved in directing, production and writing. He adapted and directed ''Exit the King'' by Ionesco, ''The Trial'' by Kafka and ''Cuisine et Dépendances'' by Bacri-Jaoui. A year later he moved to Paris, where he attended the Cours Florent before being spotted in 2007 by Isabelle Mergault, who cast him as the second male lead in ''Enfin veuve'', alongside Michèle Laroque and Jacques Gamblin. Morton worked again with Mergault in 2008 in Marcel Mithois' ''Croque Monsieur'', directed by Alain Sachs. He played Nicolas at the Théâtre des Variétés in Paris from January to June that year, then on tour in France, Belgium and Switzerland from January to May 2009. He also had a small part in Mergault's third film, ''Donnant Donnant''. In 2009 he received the Best Actor award at the 48-hour Film Festival in Paris, for his role in the short film ''Blister Boy''.
